| 9/5/2008: Portugal has its first Degree and Master in Culture Sciences | (Published by Vera Dantas ) | A Degree and a Master in Culture Sciences, with a specialization in Artistic Culture will open this year (2008/2009), for the first time in Portugal, at the Decorative Art Upper School, in Lisbon.
The Degree in Culture Sciences offers preparation for several professional areas: cultural and artistic creation and management, editorial technology, human resources management, artistic and cultural analysis and consultancy, policies implementation, cultural animation, art critic, archives organization, cultural journalism, cultural and nature tourism, artistic markets and cultural research.
As for the Master in Culture Sciences, the aim is to prepare the future Masters with theoretical knowledge and multidisciplinary training for the comprehension, critic and capacity to intervene in the cultural and artistic phenomena.
