  Panel 2
Coherent policy from the perspective of cities in Europe
Example: The InterReg Programme - Economic Clusters for Cultural Enterprises (ECCE)

The ECCE network unites seven partners from the NWE regions France, Great-Britain, Germany and the Netherlands with the aim of promoting cultural and creative small and medium enterprises on a regional scale. Besides the lead partner Nantes, the cities of Aachen, Angers, Eindhoven, Rennes and Utrecht as well as the institution CIDA from Huddersfield are involved in the project. The partner cities are developing and implementing methods and strategies which allow regional support and use of the economic and creative potential of creative enterprises. The network helps provide business consultancy, information and training. It is also working on mounting a capital providers’ network as well as on strengthening the cooperation with players with different professional and national backgrounds. Within this panel the different methods and strategies will be presented and discussed.
